CHSL Rules Summary
Match Format
- 8 players per side, each bowling 6 hands
- Away team throws first in each hand
- Maximum 27 pins per hand
- 6 hands per match — team with highest pin total in a hand wins that hand point
Scoring
- Match win: 6 points · Draw: 3 points · Loss: 0 points
- 1 point per hand won (0–6 each side per match)
- Total match points = match points + hand points (max 12 per match)
Hand Point Tie (Rule 16)
If a hand is tied on pins, the hand point is decided by the highest individual score within that hand. If still tied, the point cascades to the next hand, and so on.
League Table
- Teams are ranked by total points (match pts + hand pts)
- Tie-break: pin difference
